Change Your Point of View at Cape Point Nature Reserve

At the most south-westerly tip of Africa, it feels like you are miles away, yet it’s only a 20-minute drive from many of our holiday villas. Some of these homes are still available for December – check out our Peak Season Offers.

Cape Point boasts many hiking and cycling trails well worth exploring. You might spot zebra, eland, baboons, ostriches, or bontebok. You could even get lucky and see a Verraux’s eagle soaring in the blue sky above, or ostriches on the beach at Olifantsbos. Let this magical place fill you with wonder as you breathe in the fynbos air.

Absorb the silence and majestic splendour of this place, then get your 10 000 daily steps covered by climbing all the way to the top of Cape Point to the lighthouse. Or take the kids up on The Flying Dutchman, a funicular railway that will save your breath. Your reward will be spectacular 360 degree views.

You can end your day with a delicious seafood platter and breathtaking ocean views at the restaurant, or bring your own picnic to the Bordjiesdrif or Buffels Bay tidal pools. Keep an eye out for baboons wanting to join in the fun!

Cape Town’s Turquoise Beaches: Noordhoek

The drive over Chapman’s Peak sees the most beautiful mountain pass road curve to reveal the gorgeous stretch of soft white sand and turquoise waters of Noordhoek Beach.

When you stay in Noordhoek, you can choose to go horse riding, explore the rock pools, splash in the turquoise water, head out for a surf or simply just sit and soak it all up.

Our Noordhoek villas showcase the glorious backdrop of the Chapman’s Peak mountain range, swathed in the milkwood forest that covers the dunes up to the massive seaside boulders.

You’ll find us here at our favourite sundowner spot called ‘The Hoek’.

Grab a cold bottle of something and ‘pull in’ (as the locals say)!
